Whom do I serve and how can I help? It is all about you and your family as you live your lives and seek your dreams.
Each family desires a comfortable retirement at a date of their choosing. There are many facets of life that we all face that can impact our plans. I seek to utilize my experience and the experiences of my team to educate and guide you in an independent manner where you are always first and foremost.
Think of areas that truly can cause stress or impact your plans. Some can be planned for, while others are risks that we can only try to protect ourselves where feasible. Some concerns you and your family may have are:
How can I afford to send my children to college? Will I run out of money during retirement? Are my investments in harmony with my goals, or am I taking too much risk? Taxes are a burden, so can I legitimately reduce them? What if I need to help my parents? How could I deal with the impact of a devastating illness or dementia? Cybersecurity impacts us every day, so how can I protect my family? I have helped my client’s deal with each of these issues and more.
I seek a long term relationship with my clients and their family. I will spend whatever time is required to truly know you and your family. We will work together to determine how to get to where you desire along with realizing everyone’s goals need to be reviewed and updated periodically so together we can assess what may need to be changed to reach them.
I have been married since 1978 to my wife Lore. Our joy is in the accomplishments of our daughter (a Marine Biologist) and our son (an Architect) and the future of our grandchildren. The special free time for my wife and I is being spent together with our families so we can experience a portion of their lives.
Professionally I chose to become a Certified Public Accountant (1981) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional (2005). Every week I continue to educate myself to further my knowledge in areas that impact my clients such as the massive tax law changes effective in 2018.
My professional history since 1978 includes work in the CPA field, being In Corporate Management and transitioning into financial planning in 1989.
